Walking Together for a Cause: Montgomery Place & Life Care at Home Join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s

ree

Each October, communities across the nation unite to raise awareness and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. This year, Montgomery Place & Life Care at Home proudly participated in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, joining thousands of individuals and organizations dedicated to finding a cure.

The Work of the Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer’s Association plays a vital role in advancing research, providing education, and supporting families and caregivers. Across the country, millions of people live with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia—and millions more serve as caregivers. The Association’s impact includes:

  • 24/7 Helpline: Offering information and emotional support at any time.

  • Education Programs: Empowering families, professionals, and communities with knowledge and resources.

  • Research Funding: Driving innovation in prevention, treatment, and care.

  • Local Support: Connecting individuals to resources and support groups that help navigate the challenges of memory loss.

Each step taken at the Walk represents hope, compassion, and shared determination—a collective stride toward a future without Alzheimer’s.

Montgomery Place & Life Care at Home Take Action

This year marked a meaningful milestone as Montgomery Place & Life Care at Home joined the Walk side by side with residents, families, and staff members. The energy, emotion, and sense of unity were powerful reminders of how much we can achieve together.

Participating in the Walk not only raised awareness but also deepened our commitment to supporting those affected by dementia within our own community. Inspired by this year’s experience, Montgomery Place & Life Care at Home plan to make this an annual tradition—a reflection of our ongoing dedication to wellness, compassion, and connection!

Continuing the Journey

At Montgomery Place, we believe wellness extends beyond physical health—it embraces emotional and social well-being, too. As we continue to support Alzheimer’s research and education, we honor those living with memory loss and the loved ones who care for them. Together, we walk toward hope, healing, and a world without Alzheimer’s.
