One of the most distinctive aspects of Montgomery Place is its neighborhood design and programming for individuals facing early, moderate and advanced stages of cognitive impairment. The Illinois Department of Public Health certifies all of our programs.

The Catered Living Pavilion has a unique neighborhood design and programming for individuals with early stage cognitive impairment. Wandering pathways, rounded corridor ends and a rooftop garden allow for an emotionally soothing and therapeutic environment.

The Health Care Pavilion offers memory support for individuals with moderate to advanced stages of cognitive impairment.

Individuals are supported by a dedicated staff of professionals trained in the art of working with residents experiencing memory loss. From corridors with rounded corners that allow controlled wandering, to family-style dining and a safe and beautiful enclosed outdoor roof garden, the environment is designed to provide comfort and create a sense of well-being. Programs and activities promote and extend overall wellness and quality of life and include these benefits and services:

  • Person-centered care that recognizes and respects the preferences and routines of the individual
  • A talented and caring staff or professionals trained by a certified instructor in dementia/memory support to provide extra help in daily activities, lending to the highest possible level quality of life.
