Our proud history harks back to 1888 when Montgomery Place was founded as The Church Home, a housing facility for seniors in need. Since the 1990s, Montgomery Place has been located in the city's vibrant Hyde Park neighborhood, overlooking Lake Michigan. As always, our goal remains the same: to enhance the lives of the people who honor us by joining our community.
