Financial Options

Having choices at Montgomery Place is nothing new, and we offer a variety of contracts that will suit many financial situations. Each has been designed to meet the needs and priorities of a wide variety of retirement lifestyles.

At Montgomery Place we offer four options for residency: three Refundable Entrance Fee Plans and a Rental Plan available on selected apartments. 90% Refundable Entrance Fee Plan

If you select this plan, you will pay an entrance fee and monthly fees that are significantly lower than rental rates. The refundable portion of your entrance fee declines by 2% per month for five months, at which time it becomes 90% refundable. Thereafter, when you leave the community and your apartment is reoccupied, you or your estate will receive a refund of 90% of the entrance fee amount. Those who choose this option receive fully renovated apartments, including a host of upgrades, a washer and dryer, options for preferred finishes, colors, and other very personalized enhancements. Residents who select the 90% Refundable Entrance Fee Plan will receive a combined household discount of 10% off the monthly service fee should they permanently move to the Catered Living Pavilion or the Health Care Pavilion. 50% Refundable Entrance Fee Plan

If you select this plan, you will pay an entrance fee and monthly fees that are significantly lower than rental rates. When you leave the community and your apartment is reoccupied, you or your estate will receive a refund of 50% of the entrance fee amount. Those who choose this option receive fully renovated apartments, including a host of upgrades, a washer and dryer, options for preferred finishes, colors, and other very personalized enhancements. Residents who select the 50% Refundable Entrance Fee Plan will receive a combined household discount of 10% off the monthly service fee should they permanently move to the Catered Living Pavilion or the Health Care Pavilion. $50,000 Refundable Entrance Fee Plan

Under this plan, entering residents pay a $50,000 entry fee that is 90% refundable at the time of reoccupancy. Those who choose this option receive fully renovated apartments, including a host of upgrades, a new washer and dryer, options for preferred finishes, colors, and other very personalized enhancements. While living in the apartment, the resident pays the same monthly fees as those who are renting, and there are no discounts on Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing services. The refundable portion of your entrance fee declines by 2% per month for five months, at which time it becomes 90% refundable. Thereafter, when you leave the community and your apartment is reoccupied, you or your estate will receive a refund of 90% of the entrance fee amount. Rental Plan

Depending on the apartment selected, you may also be able to choose the rental option. This plan requires a security deposit and does not offer discounted rates on services in our Catered Living Pavilion or Health Care Pavilion; however, there is no entrance fee required, and residents benefit from every service and amenity offered at Montgomery Place.
